WHO ARE WE?
The Rikers Times is run by students from The Bronx High School of Science, who enjoy satire and think we could all use a laugh in today's social and political climate. We write articles regarding current events as well as articles that are more timeless for the enjoyment of our readers. We release two articles each Sunday, so look out for them. We also accept submissions from readers so don't hesitate to contact us if you want to see some of your content on our newssite. Don't forget to subscribe for weekly emails and updates!

With unreliable news sources dominating the mainstream media, we at The Rikers Times feel it is important for there to be a place where the public can access factual information.
